Berlin, October 1, 2025 – Berlin-based KUGU Home GmbH has unveiled its new User Portal 2.0 and a unified product structure. With these developments, KUGU is opening a new chapter and setting the course for the next growth phase. After an intensive development process, the company is presenting a completely revised product portfolio that seamlessly combines digital energy optimization and billing, paving the way for economically viable decarbonization in the building sector. KUGU is sending a strong signal: digitalization and climate protection can be achieved faster and more effectively together.
New Product Structure Provides Clarity
With its revised product lineup, KUGU has made its offering clearer: the KUGU Energy Suite brings together two solutions that enable companies to monitor heating systems in real time and optimize them automatically. KUGU EOS, the Energy Optimization System, uses AI-based algorithms to reduce energy consumption and increase system efficiency — without the need for structural modifications. KUGU VIS, the Visual Information System, makes consumption and performance visible as a digital control center, providing live data at any time.
The products of the KUGU Submetering Suite simplify consumption measurement, digital billing, and regulatory reporting. KUGU AbSys is the established billing standard for the housing industry and is used annually for over 500,000 residential units. In addition, flexible add-ons such as an installation app or the new KUGU Portal create a centralized data foundation, automate tenant information mailings (uVI), and seamlessly integrate external systems.
User Portal 2.0: Intuitive, Transparent, Powerful
The user portal has been fundamentally redesigned both technically and visually. The new interface is more intuitive, easier to use, and more powerful thanks to a modern cloud infrastructure. Customers can now control their systems more directly and reliably.
